Kelly Clarkson canceled the opening weekend of her Las Vegas residency, “Kelly Clarkson: Studio Sessions,” just hours before her first show at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

The cancellation, affecting both Friday and Saturday performances, was due to illness.

Clarkson and her team emphasized that her health is the top priority, with plans to rest and recover before resuming the residency, which is scheduled to run through November.

Efforts are underway to reschedule the missed shows, though new dates have not yet been announced.

The residency marks a major return for Clarkson, featuring a mix of fan favorites and new material. Ticket holders for the canceled July 4th and 5th shows are advised to await updates regarding rescheduling and refund options.

The cancellations underscore the demands of live performance and the importance of artist health. Fans remain hopeful for Clarkson’s recovery and return to the stage.
