MANILA, Philippines– President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Tuesday pledged his administration’s steadfast support to the Philippine Air Force (PAF) during its 78th anniversary celebration at Villamor

Air Base in Pasay City. Marcos emphasized the importance of supporting the PAF’s capacity-building efforts to ensure the nation’s airspace safety.

The Philippine Air Force, established on July 1, 1947, is recognized for its legacy of excellence, achieved through decades of hard work and patriotism.

He praised the PAF for tracking insurgents, neutralizing threats, and supporting law enforcement operations, including capturing criminals and curbing smuggling activities.

The President commended the PAF for its consistency, competence, and integrity, noting that its personnel are well-trained, highly capable, and willing to protect the nation’s citizens and sovereignty.
