HOUSTON, Texas– The Houston Independent School District (HISD) is hosting a series of job fairs to address more than 350 teacher vacancies ahead of the upcoming school year.

The hiring events are being held at Delmar Fieldhouse, with remaining dates scheduled for June 28, July 12, and July 26.

The district is seeking qualified educators to fill teaching roles across various campuses.

HISD officials said the job fairs are part of a broader effort to ensure schools are fully staffed by the start of classes.

Applicants attending the events will have the opportunity to meet with hiring officials and may participate in on-the-spot interviews.

HISD encourages candidates to bring the necessary documentation and be prepared for immediate consideration.
