MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. disclosed on Monday that he received false accomplishment reports on government projects, as revealed in Part 1 of the BBM Podcast: Episode 2.

Journalist Cheryl Cosim interviewed Marcos in the podcast, where they discussed his visits to public areas such as markets, train stations, and provinces.

Marcos explained that these visits help him verify the accuracy of governmental project reports.

He elaborated that any level of government could present differing narratives when compared to firsthand observations.

Marcos mentioned that he has dismissed several public servants since assuming office.

He emphasized that governance should prioritize public service over personal relationships.
