Houston Consulate General celebrates 127th Philippine Independence Day with Southeast Texas community

BEAUMONT, Texas — Consul Von Ryan Pangwi and Mr. Eric Ricafort of the Philippine Consulate General in Houston participated in the 127th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence at the Downtown Event Centre in Beaumont.

The event was organized by the Philippine Association of Beaumont Texas (PABT), a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving Filipino culture and supporting the community in Southeast Texas.

The celebration featured the presence of Beaumont Mayor Roy West and renowned Filipino sculptor Nixxio Castrillo, who showcased his art in the exhibit “Sining Likha.” The event highlighted Filipino heritage through art, culture, and community fellowship
