Israel announced on Saturday that it had recovered the body of a Thai national who was taken hostage during an attack led by Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

The attack, which began on October 7, 2023, prompted the ongoing conflict.

The deceased, Nattapong Pinta, was working in agriculture in Israel.

Authorities stated that he was abducted from Kibbutz Nir Oz and killed early in the war.

The Israeli military continued its offensive operations, resulting in at least 95 deaths in Gaza in the past 24 hours, as reported by Gaza’s health ministry.

The Thai Foreign Ministry confirmed that the bodies of two other Thai citizens remain to be retrieved.
