DENVER, Colorado — U.S. immigration authorities have detained the family of Mohamed Sabry Soliman, the man charged in connection with a recent attack in Colorado.

Federal officials are investigating whether Soliman’s family had any prior knowledge of his plans or involvement in the attack.

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detained Soliman’s family following the charges against him. Authorities are questioning family members to determine whether they were aware of Soliman’s intentions or if they had any role in the planning of the attack.

Homeland Security officials have not disclosed the identities of Soliman’s family members in custody.

The Colorado attack resulted in multiple casualties and injuries, prompting increased security measures and heightened vigilance throughout the state.

Officials are also looking into Soliman’s background, including any potential affiliations with extremist groups, and are examining his digital communications to identify any links that may have contributed to the attack.
