DALLAS, Texas– Glen Oaks United Methodist Church in Dallas has experienced a series of thefts, with thieves removing parts from 11 air conditioning units over a period of less than three weeks.

The first incident occurred on April 15, when three units were targeted. Subsequent thefts followed, each involving additional units.

The repeated thefts have disrupted church activities and imposed financial burdens on the congregation. In response, the church has initiated a fundraising campaign to cover repair and replacement costs.

Additionally, they are exploring enhanced security measures, including installing surveillance cameras and improving lighting, to prevent future incidents.

Community support has been evident, with local residents expressing solidarity and offering assistance. Church officials remain committed to their mission and are working diligently to recover from the setbacks caused by these thefts.
