MANILA, Philippines– Filipino boxer Carl Jammes Martin will make his U.S. debut on May 31 in an eight-round, non-title junior featherweight bout against Mexican fighter Francisco Javier Pedroza Portillo at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Martin and Portillo successfully completed the official weigh-in on Friday, confirming both fighters met the required weight limit for their division.
The weigh-in marked a crucial step ahead of the highly anticipated event, which takes place on May 31 in the United States, or June 1 in Manila time.
