Cha Eun-woo confirms military enlistment for july 28

Cha Eun-woo, the 28-year-old ASTRO member and actor, is set to enlist in the South Korean military on July 28. He has applied to join the Republic of Korea Army’s military band and is currently awaiting final selection results.

If accepted, he will undergo basic training in July before starting duties with the military band, which performs ceremonial and musical functions for the army.

The announcement has stirred emotional responses from fans around the world.

Before enlisting, Cha Eun-woo is scheduled to appear at ASTRO’s first solo concert in three years, titled The 4th ASTROAD [Stargraphy], on June 7–8 at the Incheon Inspire Arena. This marks their first major group performance since 2022 and will feature all members, including former member Rocky.

After completing his service, Cha Eun-woo is expected to return to the entertainment industry with new music, acting roles, and fan events.
