Overseas Filipino seniors encouraged to avail cash perks under Expanded Centenarians Act

MANILA, Philippines– The Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO) is calling on all qualified overseas Filipino octogenarians, nonagenarians, and centenarians to avail themselves of cash incentives under the Expanded Centenarians Act of 2023 (Republic Act No. 11982).

Under the law, overseas Filipinos who are 80, 85, 90, or 95 years old may receive a ₱10,000 cash gift. Those who reach 100 years of age or older are entitled to a ₱100,000 cash gift, along with a special congratulatory letter from the President of the Philippines.
