MANILA, Philippines– Ian de Leon, son of the late National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts Nora Aunor, has requested the public and media to respect his family’s privacy concerning matters related to his mother’s estate.
The request was made during a special screening of Faney, a tribute film commemorating Aunor’s 72nd birthday. De Leon attended the event with his wife, children, and brother Kenneth.
In response to reporters’ inquiries about Aunor’s assets, De Leon stated that discussions about the estate remain private. He emphasized that the family considers these matters confidential and urged the public to honor that boundary.
De Leon also expressed appreciation to fellow actors, supporters, and fans who continue to honor Aunor’s legacy.
