Golden State Warriors player Stephen Curry will miss several games due to a Grade 1 hamstring strain, affecting the team’s Western Conference semifinal series.

Curry sustained the injury during Game 1 against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He participated in a gameday shootaround practice in Minneapolis on Thursday, where he initially claimed to be “feeling great,” but later clarified it was a sarcastic remark.

Curry’s injury kept him out of most of the first game of the series, and the Warriors expect him to be sidelined for at least a week as he recovers. Medical staff are closely monitoring his condition to determine when he can safely return to play.

Curry’s absence presents a challenge for the Warriors, who continue to prepare for the next games without his participation. The team remains focused on adapting their strategy while Curry follows medical guidance for his recovery.
