Cha Eun-woo’s agency, Fantagio, has filed a legal complaint against individuals spreading false information and malicious posts targeting the artist.

The action follows the release of the tribute song “Moon,” performed by Cha Eun-woo, fellow Astro members, and other K-pop artists in memory of their late bandmate Moonbin.

Some netizens accused Cha of exploiting Moonbin’s passing for profit, prompting the agency to take legal action.

Fantagio announced the move through Cha’s official social media channels on April 25, underscoring their zero-tolerance stance on defamation and harmful content.

The agency emphasized its dedication to protecting its artists and urged fans to report any malicious material they encounter. Supporters have expressed solidarity with Cha and praised Fantagio for standing firm against cyberbullying.

Fantagio assured the public that it will continue to monitor online platforms and pursue legal remedies as needed to defend its talent.
