DALLAS, Texas–Carlos Santana postponed his scheduled concert in San Antonio on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, after being hospitalized for a medical issue.

The 75-year-old musician is in stable condition and under observation, according to a statement from his management.

The incident occurred during a soundcheck session at the Majestic Theater, where Santana was preparing for his evening performance. Emergency responders transported him to a local hospital. His team described the illness as non-life-threatening but did not provide further details.

His management confirmed that ticket holders will be able to use their existing tickets once the concert is rescheduled. Organizers plan to announce the new date soon.

Santana’s health has previously impacted his touring schedule. In 2024, he postponed six shows after collapsing on stage in Michigan due to dehydration. His team cited the importance of prioritizing his recovery and thanked fans for their continued support.

A representative for the musician said Santana is resting and expressed appreciation for the messages of concern from the public. Updates on his condition and the rescheduled concert date will be released through official channels.
