The Philippine Consulate General, in coordination with Honorary Consul Roberto Romero and Filipino community organizations in Baton Rouge and New Orleans, conducted its first consular outreach mission for 2025 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on 12–13 April 2025.
A six-member team from the Consulate General, led by Consul Von Ryan Pangwi, provided services to over 180 Filipino nationals residing in Louisiana. Services rendered included passport processing, retention and re-acquisition of Philippine citizenship (dual citizenship), notarial and civil registry services, and overseas voting pre-enrollment assistance for the upcoming Philippine national mid-term elections.
The Consulate General will continue to hold consular outreach missions in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, and New Mexico in the coming months.
