MANILA, Philippines– Bernadeth Pons has announced her decision to reunite with Sisi Rondina for the 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Thailand, representing Alas Pilipinas in beach volleyball.

Pons’ commitment follows Creamline’s loss to Petro Gazz in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference Finals Game 3 on Saturday.

She shifts her focus from the indoor volleyball court back to the beach, a field where she previously earned accolades.

Pons, alongside Rondina, secured two bronze medals at the 2019 and 2022 SEA Games.

The duo aims to capitalize on their past success after missing the podium at the recent 2023 SEA Games in Cambodia.

Pons’ return to beach volleyball marks a significant move as she reunites with Rondina, reigniting their partnership known as the “SiPons” tandem.

Alas Pilipinas, the team they represent, looks forward to benefiting from their experience and synergy.
