Warriors down Nuggets, as Curry strengthens push for 4th place

Stephen Curry scored a game-high 36 points as the Golden State Warriors defeated the Denver Nuggets 118-104 on Friday in the NBA.

Brandin Podziemski and Jimmy Butler III contributed a combined 45 points to the Warriors’ victory. The win marked the Warriors’ fifth consecutive victory.

The Warriors improved their record to 46-31.This victory positioned the Warriors within half a game of the fourth-place Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference standings.

The Nuggets’ record now stands at 47-31.

Both teams are competing for advantageous playoff positions in the Western Conference.
