MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Immigration (BI) has detained Russian vlogger Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, 33, pending his deportation, following his arrest for harassing Filipinos in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig.
Authorities arrested Zdorovetskiy after a controversial livestream showed him harassing locals, including grabbing a security guard’s hat and attempting to seize a gun.
The Bureau of Immigration transferred Zdorovetskiy to its detention facility at Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig.
The BI commissioner emphasized that harassment and disruptive behavior are unacceptable and that the Philippines will hold accountable those who disrespect local laws and hospitality.
