AUSTIN, Texas– A man injured in a severe crash on Interstate 35 in North Austin has filed a $100 million lawsuit against multiple defendants, including a Dallas-based transportation company, a truck driver, and Amazon.

The lawsuit, filed in a Texas court, alleges negligence concerning the accident, which involved a tractor-trailer colliding with several stopped vehicles.

The crash occurred when the tractor-trailer struck multiple vehicles on the busy highway, causing injuries to the plaintiff.

The lawsuit claims the truck driver failed to operate the vehicle safely, leading to the collision.

The plaintiff’s attorneys argue that the transportation company is responsible for improper hiring and oversight of its drivers.

Amazon is also named in the lawsuit, with allegations that its logistics operations and contractual relationships may have contributed to the circumstances of the crash.

The complaint raises questions about the company’s influence over delivery schedules and driver working conditions.

The plaintiff suffered multiple broken bones and other serious injuries as a result of the crash.

The transportation company has not yet issued a statement regarding the lawsuit.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident, reviewing reports and available footage to determine the sequence of events leading to the crash.
