A month-old girl, identified as Ella Osama Abu Dagga, was rescued from the rubble of her home in Khan Younis, Gaza Strip, on Thursday following an airstrike.
The attack destroyed multiple apartment buildings and resulted in the deaths of her parents, brother, and at least 16 others, mostly women and children.
Rescue workers located Ella after hearing her cries beneath the debris. A man emerged carrying the infant, swaddled for protection, as onlookers shouted in relief.
International organizations and governments have called for a ceasefire as negotiations continue. Humanitarian aid groups are providing food, medical assistance, and shelter to affected communities.
