Severe storms leave at least 4 hospitalized in North Texas

Severe storms hit North Texas on Saturday morning, injuring four people and causing damage. Winds reached 50 to 60 miles per hour, and hail ranged from pea to quarter-sized.

Ellis County saw overturned RVs, downed trees, and power lines. Six 18-wheelers were overturned on I-35.

In Waxahachie, several homes were damaged, including one on Bluestem Way, where windows were shattered and the garage door was broken.

Maypearl was also affected, with power outages at Broker Brothers grocery store and roof damage at Maypearl Primary School. The hospitalized individuals’ injuries are not known.
