Two Chinese nationals recently faced charges in a Malaysian court following an incident at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
The pair caused a disturbance on a flight, leading to their ejection from the aircraft and subsequent legal action. The charges were filed against them on February 14.
The incident occurred at KLIA’s Terminal 2, specifically at Gate Q5, where the couple allegedly committed an obscene act.
Court documents state that the two undressed at the gate, a public area, causing a disturbance.
Authorities were alerted quickly to the disturbance, and the couple was removed from the flight they were scheduled to board.
After their ejection from the plane, authorities took further steps to charge them with engaging in an obscene act in a public space.
The identities of the Chinese couple have not been disclosed.
