HOUSTON, Texas– Congressman Al Green has announced his intention to file articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump, escalating tensions between the Trump administration and certain members of Congress.

Green, representing Texas’s 9th District, stated that he plans to hold the president accountable for actions that he believes warrant impeachment, though the specific charges have not yet been disclosed.

Green’s announcement marks a significant development in the ongoing political debates surrounding Trump’s conduct in office.

The congressman has previously advocated for impeachment, citing concerns over the president’s behavior and his adherence to constitutional obligations.

His decision to formally introduce articles of impeachment is expected to further fuel discussions and divisions within Washington.

At the same time, President Trump made headlines at a White House press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, where he proposed the idea of U.S. control over certain foreign territories.

Trump suggested that the United States should assume ownership and redevelopment of these lands, although he did not provide specific plans on how this would be implemented.
