Jisoo of Blackpink unveils album covers, Manila among Asia tour stops

Blackpink member Jisoo has unveiled the album covers for her first solo extended play, Amortage.

The cover visuals feature Jisoo in a variety of captivating poses, with one image showing her seemingly emerging from a wall. Other covers showcase the artist in elegant black and white attire, directly engaging with the camera.

Jisoo’s solo EP is set to release on February 14, marking a significant milestone in her career as she embarks on her first solo music project.

This release comes just before the solo projects of her fellow Blackpink members. Lisa’s album, Alter Ego, is set to release two weeks later, and Jennie’s Ruby will debut in early March.

In addition to her album, Jisoo announced her first solo tour across Asia, which will include a stop in Manila.

The tour will travel through several major cities, including Bangkok, Tokyo, Macau, Taipei, Hong Kong, and Hanoi.

Specific dates and ticketing details have not yet been revealed, keeping fans on edge.

The Lights, Love, Action tour aims to bring Jisoo closer to her fans in Asia.

Jisoo’s solo projects are part of a broader trend within Blackpink, with each member pursuing individual ventures while continuing to perform together as a group. This strategy allows each artist to explore personal artistic interests, grow their fan bases, and contribute to the collective success of Blackpink.
