The production is set to begin filming soon, with TBA Studios producing the project.

Quezon will focus on the life and political journey of Manuel L. Quezon, the second president of the Philippines, but will also explore key events involving Aguinaldo.

Confiado’s portrayal of Aguinaldo is expected to address the complexities of his leadership during the Philippine Revolution.

Director Jerrold Tarog, known for his work on historical films, expressed enthusiasm about working with Confiado once again.

Tarog, who has previously collaborated with Confiado on historical projects, is noted for his commitment to depicting Filipino history authentically in cinema.

The film’s cast includes Benjamin Alves and Therese Malvar, both established actors in the Philippine entertainment industry.
