DALLAS, Texas — Two individuals from Lancaster, Texas, have been arrested in connection with a theft operation involving approximately $400,000 worth of Lego sets.

The alleged operation targeted retail outlets across multiple states, including East Texas, Florida, and Oklahoma.

Authorities identified the suspects as Brian Fleming and Ladarion Anderson, who now face charges of organized crime and theft exceeding $300,000.

The thefts reportedly took place over several months, with stores in Tyler, Longview, and Gun Barrel City, Texas, among those affected.

Additional incidents were reported in Florida and Oklahoma.

Law enforcement described the operation as systematic, focusing on high-value Lego sets, which are in demand for their retail and collectible appeal.

Investigators from the Texas Department of Public Safety, in coordination with local police and retail loss prevention teams, uncovered a methodical approach employed by the suspects.

According to reports, the suspects scouted stores in advance, identifying security vulnerabilities and carrying out thefts during busy shopping hours to avoid detection.

Both Fleming and Anderson were taken into custody without incident. They remain detained as prosecutors prepare to present evidence collected during the investigation.
