HOUSTON, Texas — Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) counterterrorism investigators and bomb technicians conducted an operation at a residence in Houston on Wednesday night.

The investigation involved a suspect allegedly connected to a truck attack earlier this week. Local and federal law enforcement agencies coordinated efforts to secure the area and collect evidence.

Law enforcement personnel surrounded the home with police barricades and remained on-site for several hours. Authorities instructed residents to avoid the area while the investigation was underway.

A temporary flight restriction was implemented over the site to prevent aerial disruptions during the operation.

The FBI’s counterterrorism team led the investigation, examining potential links to terrorism and assessing any additional threats.

Bomb technicians were deployed to address concerns about possible explosive devices. Officials have not disclosed specific details about the findings or the nature of the incident.
